“Rockstar Games is of course hard at work on some exciting future projects that will be revealed soon,” Take-Two said in the earnings report, via Gamespot. It could be referring to more content for the absurdly profitable GTA Online, but that stuff is a bit par for the course at this point. The tease certainly seems to indicate new games, and I’d make a bet on a new Red Dead Redemption title before a new GTA, which we likely won’t see for a while. The rumored map for a new game leaked online a little while ago, suggesting that the series would be going back in time to an earlier period in the American frontier.
In the run-up to E3 2016, the rumor mill has started to churn with whispers that the game “Red Dead Redemption 2” will be announced. Additionally, even though very little official information about the game is available, analysts and other industry watchers are certain that it will be announced.
Red Dead Redemption Game Size
Various leaks and rumors doing the rounds on-line have suggested that the next Red Dead Redemption game will be called “Legends of the Old West” and will be set in a prequel time-line. This new version of the hit game is said to absolutely massive; this information comes from a leaked in-game map, which shows that the open world map for this new game will be much larger than the previous.
Red Dead Redemption 2 MAP LEAKED?
Whatever happens, we likely wouldn’t see the game until latest 2017, at the latest. Take Two has already revealed its full list of titles for fiscal year 2016, and there’s no Red Dead on there. In the meanwhile, if you are looking for an awesome game to have it right now check it out Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End or Call Of Duty Black Ops.
